Even our basic incident light and swing-arm boom stands have an ESD safe design. This antistatic design repels dust and dirt, which helps to keep our customers' samples contamination free. A surface resistance of 10`2 -10`6 ohms/square cm provides adequate protection for nearly all applications. The attractive styling of the microscopes allows convenient access to the specimen and requires a minimal amount of bench-top space. Stereozoom optics carriers have a narrow profile that conserve critical space and are perfect for most OEM applications, especially wire bonders. Users can set zoom stops for repeat observation at2 defined magnifications which is especially useful for Mil-Spec standard QC inspections. The Stereozoom® line has the largest field of view of any Greenough style stereomicroscope with standard 10x eyepieces. The Leica L2 cold light source is UL and CE approved and does not require a fan to remain cool.
