The S6 with 6.3:1 zoom and a standard magnification of 6.3x - 40x has a 60° viewing angle. OEM applications using bonders, probers or boom stands benefit from this higher viewing position. The S6 offers the largest field of view (36.5 mm) of any instrument. This instrumente is chromatically optimized for clear, sharp images. It is robust and reliable designd, coupled with comfortable user interfaces make the S6 a very valuable tool.
The optical design allows this stereomicroscope to be used for long periods without causing eye strain, resulting in faster, more efficient inspections and increased productivity. The Leica S6 offers a 60° viewing angle to maintain an ergonomic viewing height in instances where the entire stereomicroscope needs to be inclined, such as on a wire bonder or prober station. Ergonomic objectives permit fine adjustments of working distance and viewing height.
The Leica S6 is a modular microscope with a wide range of objectives, eyepieces, stands, and illumination.
The Leica L2 cold light source can be directly coupled with this stereomicroscope and is the only integrated system for small space requirements available today.
The Leica L2 and the Leica S6 are constructed of the same ZeroStat antistatic polymer which makes this combination perfect for electrostatic sensitive work.
