The S6 E with 6.3:1 zoom and a standard magnification of 6.3x - 40x has a comfortable 38° viewing angle. The optical design of the S6 E, coupled with the ergonomic viwing position provided by this 38° angle allows this microscope to be used for long periods without causing eye strain, resulting in faster, more efficient inspections and increased productivity. Clear, sharp images are always produced by the Leica S6 E, as it is a chromatically optimized and robusty manufactured microscope.
The Leica S6 E provides a flat (planar) field of view which is the largest in its class (36.5mm). Ergonomic objectives permit fine adjustments of working distance and viewing height.

The Leica S6 E is a modular microscope with an assortment of objectives, eyepieces, stands and illumination.
The Leica L2 cold light source can be directly coupled with this stereomicroscope and is the only integrated system for small space requirements available today.
The Leica L2 and the Leica S6 E are constructed of the same ZeroStat antistatic polymer which makes this combination perfect for electrostatic sensitive work.
